This adapter allows using lenses with Pentax 67 mount on Pentacon Six cameras. Please read the description carefully to make sure you understand how it works.

We can't make spring-loaded mounts, and secure a Pentax 67 lens with set screws therefore. This will damage P67 lens mount a bit, but not significantly. It is recommended to mount this adapter to a P67 lens permanently. This securing method is NOT purposed for often lens change.

Rear side is made with M68x1 female thread instead of male bayonet Pentacon Six mount. This was necessary to reach infinity focus. To use this adapter, you will need to remove a retaining ring from the Pentacon Six camera mount, and screw on our adapter instead of the ring.

I have only one P6 camera for tests, and our adapter was designed to put a lens witness mark in top position for this particular camera. I don't know if it will be in the same position on other Pentacon Six cameras.

Other than these couple issues, the adapter should work fine and provide infinity focus.

The installation procedure step-by-step:

  1. Unscrew a set screw from the Pentacon Six camera mount retaining ring.
  2. Remove the ring.
  3. Screw on our adapter till stop and tight it with reasonable effort.
  4. Tight the set screw on the adapter side where original retaining ring screw was. This will help to prevent unscrewing the adapter if your P67 lens has a stiff focus ring.
  5. Place a Pentax 67 lens into the adapter, positioning it to catch an alignment pin on the adapter by the lens lock notch. Note: if your lens is positioned inconveniently, you can remove the adapter lock pin screw and turn the lens into better position. Just make sure that all 3 mount lugs of the lens overlaps the adapter set screws, or you will not achieve reliable hold.
  6. Tight 3 set screws on the adapter to secure the lens.
